Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Secures Permission For 'Sarbjit' Cast To Shoot At Indo-Pak Border

We had reported a couple of days back that the Sarbjit team was facing issues with securing permission to shoot a few sequences of their upcoming film at the Indo-Pak border, but it now seems that the schedule will finally go through.

Buzz has it that Aishwarya, who plays a leading role in the film, intervened and personally requested government officials to grant her team the necessary permissions to shoot at the border and when a former beauty queen makes a request, it is somewhat tough to turn her down, isn't it? Needless to say, the permissions were granted and the crew will shoot for the sequence in the coming week before heading to Mumbai for their next schedule.

Directed by Omung Kumar, Sarbjit, which also stars Randeep Hooda and Richa Chadda, revolves around Indian farmer Sarbjit Singh, who was convicted for espionage by the Pakistan government.
