Currently basking in the massive success of Gadar 2, Sunny Deol is set for another big announcement with Border 2. Just like Gadar (2001), Border (1997) is one of the most popular films and biggest hits in Sunny Deol's filmography.
As per a report in Pinkvilla, producers Nidhi Dutta and JP Dutta will be teaming up with Sunny Deol for Border's sequel. The makers have been working on the script for some time and have found the perfect fit now. Reportedly, Border 2 will be based on the 1971 war, which has a reference in Sunny Deol's latest blockbuster Gadar 2 too.
The announcement of Border 2 is expected within the next two weeks. Sunny Deol is certainly going to create havoc at the ticket windows again, as Border carries a huge fan following amongst viewers. The 1997 war flick was a huge blockbuster at the box office, with earnings of 39 crore nett and 65 crore worldwide gross.
