The quirky trailer of director Manish Jha's upcoming film The Legend Of Michael Mishra has piqued the audience's curiosity and cinelovers are eagerly waiting for the film not only because of its peculiar plot but also because it brings back the ‘legendary' jodi of Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani.
While the audiences have high hopes from this stellar Jolly LLB pair, when asked if they believe that they would be able to recreate history with TLOMM as well, the duo stated that they just give their hundred per cent to all their films, as actors and don't think much about its fate at the box-office.
When quizzed if he believes that like Jolly LLB, The Legend Of Michael Mishra too will set the cash registers ringing, Warsi said, ''I don't know. We never knew that Jolly LLB would turn out to be such a big hit either. We came, we did our job and what had to happen, happened. Same thing here, we did our job and what has to happen, will happen.''
Boman echoed his thoughts and added, ''We never believed that Munna Bhai will be this cult film. We just do our job and go home.''
On being asked if it's more comfortable for them to work with the same actor or is it more difficult, as one has to work harder to make sure things don't look repetitive, Arshad said, ''If you are a complicated person then you are going to complicate everybody's life. I'm fortunate that I have worked with people, who are very comfortable in their skins so, there's never been an issue. Boman and I can do various things, we can play various roles and it's never gonna be a problem.''
''And most importantly, we have got each other's back,'' added Irani.
We are sure their off-screen camaraderie will create fireworks on screen as well.
Presented by Ponty Chadha's Waves cinemas and produced by Kishor Arora and Shareen Mantri Kedia of Eyecandy Films, the film has been directed by Manisha Jha and it also stars Aditi Rao Hydari and Kayoze Irani. TLOMM will release on August 5.
