Karan Johar’s romantic drama Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has completed nine years since its release, and the filmmaker marked the occasion with an emotional note on social media. The film, which hit theatres during Diwali 2016, starred Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in lead roles and became a commercial success. It collected ₹106 crore nett at the Indian box office and over ₹229 crore worldwide, emerging victorious in its big Diwali clash with Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay.
