Singer-composer Adnan Sami recently performed live at the Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto. However, this concert was not only important because it was his live performance in Toronto after a long hiatus of eight years but also because Adnan’s mother was watching him live in concert after eight years.
Reportedly, the audiences were so thrilled by Sami’s performance that they gave him a standing ovation. The 43-year-old was overwhelmed by his fans gesture and said, “My mom was blowing kisses at me from her seat!! So sweet of her! It’s all about the ‘Music’, the ‘Fans’, the ‘Passion’ & the ‘Love’!! The US/Canada tour has been ‘Madness’ personified in the most beautiful way ever! The fans have just overwhelmed me with their love & passion! I have been playing back to back concerts, sometimes even 5 cities in a row with hardly 3 hours of sleep but once I hear the roar of the audience filled with ‘Love’, I am totally recharged to explode on stage!!"
Early this month he performed at Houston and his second show too was totally sold out. Sources reveal that more than 700 people were turned back from the box-office who turned up for tickets and fire marshals were called in to control Sami's fans, who refused to leave the venue.
