Aditi Rao Hydari To Be Akshay Kumar's Leading Lady In 'Boss'

Akshay Kumar was initially supposed to go solo in director Tony D'Souza's remake of the Malayalam hit, Pokkiri Raja, Boss. However, it has been decided that Akshay, who plays a gangster in the film, will have actress Aditi Rao Hydari opposite him.

Sources reveal that initially Akshay wanted to play a lone gangster who has no other distractions and insisted that he wanted this film to be his first ever without a leading lady. However, as the script developed, Akshay felt that the audiences will feel cheated if the film doesn't have a leading lady.

Sources added that Aditi will be introduced in the plot as a surprise element and that the director feels that she makes a great pair with Akshay.
