'Adipurush' Teaser Wasn't Censored; Allahabad High Court Sends Notice To Cesore Board —

The controversies around Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, and Kriti Sanon stunned the nation a few months ago. From cartoonish VFX to wrong portrayals of Lord Ram, Devi Sita, and Ravana, people slammed the teaser so much that the makers had to shift the film for the rework.

Now, there is another legal battle that team Adipurush has to fight. The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court has issued a notice to the Censor Board to file its reply on a PIL filed against the film. The next date of hearing is February 21, and the matter will be argued further.

A division bench of Chief Justice Rajesh Bindal and Justice B. R. Singh passed the order on the PIL filed by Kuldeep Tiwari. He claimed that the producers of Adipurush's film released the teaser without obtaining a certificate from the Censor Board, which is a clear violation of rules.
