X-Men and The Following Actor Adan Canto Dies of Appendiceal Cancer

publive-imageAdan Canto Demise: Mexican actor Adan Canto, who worked in the superhero flick X-Men and the popular TV series The Following, passed away on January 8, 2024. He was 42 and died of appendiceal cancer.

His publicist, Jennifer Allen, informed the media that Adan died after privately battling the cancer. "Adan had a depth of spirit that few truly knew. Those who glimpsed it were changed forever. He will be greatly missed by so many," reads Allen's statement:

Adan Canto was married to American sculptor and painter Stephanie Lindquist, whom he met in 2012, and they have two children. Canto's notable works include X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014), Amanda & Jack Go Glamping (2017), 2 Hearts (2020), Bruised (2020), The Devil Below (2021), and Agent Game (2022).

His popular TV series works include The Following, Mixology, Blood & Oil, Second Chance, Designated Survivor, and last year's release, The Cleaning Lady. We, at Movie Talkies, pray for his soul.
