We had reported earlier that actress Tara Sutaria, who is gearing up to mark her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year 2, was supposed to play the female lead opposite Shahid Kapoor in Arjun Reddy but that she isn’t a part of the film anymore.Shahid today revealed that actress Kiara Advani has been signed up to play the female lead Preeti opposite him in Arjun Reddy, which is the remake of a South film. The Telugu original that released in August last year, revolved around a surgeon grappling with anger management issues, who goes into a downward spiral after his girlfriend gets married to someone else.
Arjun Reddy is slated to release on June 21 next year.
