Sonali Phogat, an actress, former Bigg Boss contestant and BJP leader from Haryana, passed away last night in Goa. The 41-year-old actress had a heart attack last night and couldn't survive. Her brother confirmed the news early in the morning.
Sonali Phogat became a well-known name after her appearance in Bigg Boss Season 14, even though she did not create any big controversies. Apart from Bigg Boss, she is known for portraying Fatima in the Zee TV series Ek Maa Jo Laakhon Ke Liye Bani Amma (2016) and Sonali in the Haryanvi film Chhoriyan Chhoron Se Kam Nahi Hoti (2019).
Sonali Phogat was an active politician for the BJP in Haryana. She took part in the last Assembly election as a BJP candidate from Adampur constituency against Kuldeep Bishnoi. Her husband was found dead in 2016, and she had a daughter with whom she was very close. May God rest her soul in peace.
