Rakesh Pandey, a seasoned Bollywood actor, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025. His last rites were performed yesterday in the presence of family and close friends. We, at Movie Talkies, pray for his soul to rest in peace.

Rakesh Pandey Death:
The actor was admitted to Arogya Nidhi Hospital in Juhu after suffering a cardiac arrest. He was in the ICU when he took his last breath. He was 77 and is survived by his wife, daughter Jasmeet, and granddaughter. His last rites were performed yesterday at the Shastri Nagar crematorium, and Bollywood didn't seem to notice. There are hardly any social media posts from his fellow actors, and only a few of his friends attended his funeral.

Rakesh Pandey made his Bollywood debut with Sara Aakash (1969). He worked in numerous Bollywood movies over the years, such as Do Raha (1971), Rakhwala (1971), Anokha Daan (1972), Amar Prem (1972), Apne Dushman (1975), Zindagi (1976), Mera Rakshak (1978), Manzil (1979), Mahabali Hanuman (1981), Bhaiya Dooj (1985), Yudh (1985), Jevar (1986), Eeshwar (1989), Taqdeerwala (1995), Bhishma (1996), Dil Chahta Hai (2001), and more. He was also very active in the Bhojpuri industry, where he played supporting roles. In 1966 after he left the Indian Film and Television Institute, he joined the IPTA. He is also a graduate of the Bhartendu Academy of Dramatic Arts.. He has also acted in TV serials.
