Sara Ali Khan, who is slated to make her debut as a Bollywood actress with Abhishek Kapoor’s upcoming directorial venture Kedarnath, which also stars Sushant Singh Rajput, has found herself in a legal soup after Kapoor sued her for breach of contract.
From what we have heard, Sara had earlier given a nod to be available on all the dates throughout the shoot of the film Kedarnath. However, when the makers informed her that the shooting of Kedarnath will go till July 5, her agent said that she won’t be available in June as she’ll start filming for Rohit Shetty’s Simmba starring Ranveer Singh.
Now, Abhishek Kapoor has approached the court to look into the matter and prevent her from shooting for any other film till ‘Kedarnath’ is wrapped up. Abhishek has reportedly also appealed to the court to ask Sara to pay Rs. 5 crore for breach of contract.
‘Kedarnath’, which is a love story set against the backdrop of the 2013 floods of Uttarakhand, is slated to release on November 30.
