Abhay Deol Tides Over Facebook Scare; Bares 'Singularity' Look

Abhay Deol, in keeping with the "media shy" tradition of the Deols, may not be overly effusive in media interactions, preferring his "films to do the talking", as he puts it. However, keeping the present buzz in mind with B'Townies going all gung ho with their updates, both professional and personal, on social networking sites, Abhay has decided to bite the bait too.

However, the reticent Deol was in for a virtual shock. Actually so, considering that his original Facebook account was found blocked!

States an insider, "His team was reporting other fakes and in the process, someone, by mistake also mentioned his original Facebook account… and so it was blocked too! Abhay got in touch with the Facebook authorities and also had to send across his passport for verification in order to get his account re activated."

Bowing to contemporary demands, Abhay revealed his 'look' in Singularity on Facebook.

Says a close source, "Long hair and a flowing beard that's his 'look' in Singularity. It's something that he has not attempted before. Right after he finished shooting for Singularity he chopped off his hair and went clean shaven for another Bollywood film. Since he's trying out different 'looks' in each film, Abhay felt that revealing his 'look' in the Hollywood film would help his fans know what he's upto in each film of his. So, Abhay has put up a picture of himself holding his cellphone and on it, is a picture of his 'look' from the Hollywood film."
