On World Mental Health Week, Aamir Khan who has always been an active celebrity about spreading social awareness, took the opportunity to aware people about the importance of mental health. The superstar on his social media account shared a meaningful post to alert people about mental well-being. The actor on his post spoke about emotional hygiene and how it is as important as physical hygiene to prevent a life threatening disease like depression.
Aamir on Instagram shared a post which reads,
“Emotional hygiene is as important as Physical hygiene. Being aware and sharing difficult emotions relieves stress. Physical exercise also can beat stress. Tackling it early prevents Depression. Anyone can suffer from Depression. Timely help works.”
With this post Aamir encouraged all to speak about mental health with as much ease, comfort and importance, as one does about physical health.
Meanwhile on work front, the superstar was last seen in Thugs of Hindostan and will next be seen in the much anticipated film, Laal Singh Chaddha opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan. Directed by Advait Chandan, this film is the official remake of Forrest Gump, which is collaboratively produced by Aamir Khan Productions and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. The film is set to hit the screens on Christmas 2020.
