Aamir Khan to team up with Pushpa makers for a masala movie —

Aamir Khan-Pushpa makers to team up:

The makers of Pushpa, Mythri Movie Makers, are in talks with Aamir Khan for a pan-India movie. It will be an action masala film and will mark the return of Aamir Khan to this genre after the likes of Ghajini (2008), Dhoom 3 (2013), and Thugs of Hindostan (2018), says a report in MidDay. 

If sources are to be believed, then the PK actor and Mythri will soon be teaming up for this untitled action drama, but things aren’t set yet. Mythri recently delivered an average grosser like Jaat with Bollywood actor Sunny Deol, while Aamir is gearing up for the release of the Hindi remake of the Spanish flick Campeones, titled Sitaare Zameen Par.

“The team at Mythri is exploring a pan-India mass entertainer. As seen in Pushpa, their cinematic language includes stylized action and dialogue-baazi. With Aamir, they aim to create an all-out mainstream film, which will mark his attempt at a masala movie after a long time,” a source told the portal.

The report also added that Aamir hasn't signed a project yet and his full focus is on Sitaare Zameen Par. He will make a decision only after the release of SZP, after which the project could go on floors in 2026.
