Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan will be seen in the Hindi adaptation of Tom Hanks starrer Forrest Gump, titled Lal Singh Chaddha. The duo is reported to start shooting for their film soon; and as per reports the team will kick start their first schedule in Punjab. The film is said to be shot across 100 locations in India, which includes Amritsar, Ludhiana and Jalandhar to name a few.
As per a source close to the development,
Kareena will join Aamir in the first schedule in Punjab. Where they will shoot for both their characters’ younger days, when they become friends and then fall in love. Aamir is said to have lost 20 kgs to play the younger version of Lal Singh Chaddha.
The 3 idiot pair will be seen romancing each other other in different timelines for this film. Where every time when their characters meets in different locations, they will be seen sporting different looks, as per the age of the characters they will meet at. The source further revealed that Kareena’s character will have many layers and might even be shown as a hippie-like person who keeps entering Lal Singh Chaddha’s life again and again until they settle down and get married.
On Thursday Aamir and Kareena were spotted for the look test of the film. Directed by Advait Chandan, Lal Singh Chaddha is collaboratively produced by Aamir Khan Productions and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. The film is set to hit the screens on Christmas 2020.
