A pizza feast at Indra Kumar’s expense

The cast of Ashok Thakeria’s Dhamaal had a blast during the shoot of a crucial scene. Actors Arshad Warsi, Ashish Chwodhury, Javed Jaffery and Ritiesh Deshmukh were supposed to steal pizzas from their landlord’s house and on being found out, had to throw it up on the ceiling to hide it.

But to the dismay of director Indra Kumar, the four pranksters polished off the pizzas even before the shot could start. The producer had to order more pizzas and the entire shoot was delayed for by a few hours. According to Ashish Chowdhury, there were two kinds of pizzas, the real ones and magnetic ones which would get stuck to the ceiling. Before they knew it, the actors had started eating the pizzas. The director was shocked when he realized that there were no pizzas left. The producer had to then call for some more pizzas at the last minute. But thankfully, both Indra and Thakeria saw the humour in the situation and laughed it off.
