A doctor exposes Samantha Ruth Prabhu:
South actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is under scrutiny for promoting an anti-aging supplement containing NMN (Nicotinamide Mononucleotide) on Instagram. She claimed that NMN boosts NAD+ levels, which decline with age, leading to reduced energy and focus. Samantha, co-founder of the supplement brand, stated that their product is over 99% pure NMN.

However, hepatologist Dr. Cyriac Abby Philips, known as The Liver Doc, criticized her endorsement, labeling it misleading. He argued that NMN supplements lack solid scientific backing and have not passed Phase 2 clinical trials. Dr. Philips emphasized that lifestyle factors like diet, exercise, and sleep are more effective for healthy aging than unproven supplements. Have a look at the doctor's post below:
Samantha has not publicly responded to Dr. Philips' comments. Previously, she faced backlash for suggesting hydrogen peroxide inhalation as a remedy for viral infections, a practice deemed dangerous by medical experts. This incident highlights the importance of celebrities ensuring the accuracy of health-related information they share, given their influence on public opinion.
