The action-thriller grossed Rs. 339 crore nett at the Indian box office and 565 crore gross worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing Bollywood movie of 2017. The film also achieved a record opening weekend with 114 crore nett, surpassing the record of Aamir Khan's "Dangal." To this day, it remains the biggest blockbuster in YRF's spy universe, with 3.08 crore footfalls in the Hindi language.
