Arjun Kapoor’s India’s Most Wanted released on Friday and as the movie hit the screens, a survivor of Pune’s infamous German Bakery Blast thanked the makers for telling the story of ‘India’s Most Wanted.’
The film is inspired by real life events and is loosely based on the hunt and capture of dreaded terrorist, Yasin Bhatkal, who was the founder of Indian Mujahideen. Indian Mujahideen had claimed the responsibility of several blasts that shook the country along with the German Bakery Blast.
A blast survivor named, Harsh Hede wrote, “I sincerely salute those heroes for capturing the person who is responsible for my worst nightmares. I know how difficult it’s to survive a bomb blast. I will never forget 13th Feb, 2010 Thanks @arjunk26 @foxstarhindi and @rajkumar_rkg for telling this story of #IndiasMostWanted.”
The film also stars Rajesh Sharma, Prasanth Alexandrr, Gaurav Mishra, Asif Khan, Shantilal Mukherjee and Bajrangbali Singh in key roles. Though expectation were high from this Raj Kumar Gupta directed movie, it is struggling at the box-office and earned just Rs. 2.10 crore on its opening day.
