It is shocking to know that Ghayal Once Again has just a couple of songs in it. As a matter of fact, even they haven't promoted much. Though Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy have been roped in as the composers, the music of Ghayal Once Again isn't exactly the kind that is set on commercial tones. Amitabh Bhattacharya is the lyricist.

First to arrive is Lapak Jhapak which has a good hook to it. Set in a celebratory mood with Hinglish lyrics thrown in, this one is about a gang of boys and girls who are making merry in a college setting. Though this Siddharth Mahadevan, Yashita Sharma and Armaan Malik sung track has a good pace to it with a 'desi' tune taking it forward, surprisingly there hasn't been much promotion around it.

The second and the final track in Ghayal Once Again, Khuda Hai Tere Andar, is strictly situational. This one is about looking within yourself, correcting your own acts and making that first step in the right direction, instead of complaining to the outside world around the prevailing evils. Arijit Singh sings this one, though there isn't much of a difference that he brings in to the final results through his vocals.
Overall, the soundtrack of Ghayal Once Again is very ordinary and one can't expect the songs to be playing on even before the release of the film, leave aside after it.
Our picks: Lapak Jhapak
