Honestly, you expect 3 Storeys to be a song-less film. After all, the promo conveys a hardcore realistic drama in the offering with some dose of thrills, twists and turns as well. Since this one appears to be a slice of life affair, one waits to hear what does composer Clinton Cerejo has to offer here.

3storey-2The sound of guitar kick-starts the proceedings for 'Bas Tu Hai' which has poetic romantic lyrics by Puneet Krishna. With Arijit Singh at the helm of affairs, you know the kind of sound that can be expected from this four minute piece. A soft musical track with a hint of Western flavor to it, 'Bas Tu Hai' has Jonita Gandhi pairing up with Arijit and to good effect. Though this isn't one of those quintessential Bollywood tracks in the offering, it does have its moments, especially for those who like their Hindi film music a little different.

3storey-3With a 'dandiya' base to it, 'Raasleela' is as traditional as it gets and the manner in which Sumedha Karmahe sings this one, you are also convinced that she is the right choice for the number. Amjad-Nadeem are the guest composers for this celebration track which is also written by them along with Alaukik Rahi. The good part about this song is that it never gets too loud and maintains simplicity along with sweet feel around it.

3storey-4Clinton Cerejo is back from this point on and is the composer as well as singer for Shellee written 'Azaadiyaan' which is strictly situational. The song with Bianca Gomes as Clinton's singing partner has a Western base to it and is strictly for those who like their music to be unconventional. This one actually reminds one of the kind of sound that some of the slow songs in Rock On and Rock On 2 carried, which also translates into the fact that it has very limited appeal.

The song that follows, 'Zaroori Bewakoofi', is all the more situational which seems like a jamming session in progress where Mohit Chauhan takes the lead. Pushaan Mukherjee is the lyricist for this number which has an even restricted appeal and somehow by this point in time you start losing interest in what the music of 3 Storeys had to offer as a whole.

There isn't anything really memorable about the music of 3 Storeys and all that is offered are some situational tracks that may fit into the film's narrative.
