War Movie Review: A power packed action film backed with the right blend of patriotism and entertainment

WAR, an action thriller film directed by Siddharth Anand runs through the life of Indian RAW Agents who use artificial intelligence equipments as a medium to work on missions. The main aim of the RAW Agents of the Indian Army is to protect India and its citizens from any kind of harm been caused to them by the criminals of the underworld ensuring the safety of the mankind. The film's star cast includes the Pan India Superstar, Tiger Shroff who plays the role of Khalid and then there is Hrithik Roshan, the millennium superstar who plays the role of Kabir. Kabir owns the title of a major as a RAW Agent. Whereas Tiger Shroff owns the title of a captain as a RAW Agent. Then there is Vaani Kapoor, who plays the role of Naina.

The movie begins with the context of the Indian RAW Agency, wherein there is a huge heat among the officials of the RAW Agency due to the loss of an immensely important senior official of the Indian RAW Agency. This loss links us to the underground criminals and their heinous crimes which has caused havoc across various states of the country and innocent lives been killed. Then we are taken right to the entry scene of Tiger Shroff which is unique in its own kind. Tiger Shroff displays his action scenes with perfection and wins over his fans hearts already with an array of his kicks and punches. After which, Hrithik Roshan comes into picture as a heartthrob whose entry scene itself had a heroic appearance to itself.

The way Tiger Shroff looks upto Hrithik Roshan as his mentor, while working under him as a RAW Agent in a team of soldiers who fight together on missions to protect the country and having serious conversations with him about his each and every move is something really worth admiring. This is the kind of relationship every student would want to have with his or her mentor. While working on their missions together, both the actors share dry humour with each other which made sure that everyone were in fits of laughter. Then while bonding together, the actors Tiger Shroff and Hrithik Roshan groove to the song 'Jai Jai Shivshankar' wherein they definitely ensured that they swooned all of their fans with the right kind of dance moves bringing setting the dance floor on fire.

The action packed film is filled with the messages of patriotism and one's undying love towards their nation for whose protection and integrity, these brave soldiers would go to any extent including sacrificing their lives as well. While dealing with such a bold subject, the director as well as the screenwriter made sure that they also threw the flavours of humour and entertainment to make it a light hearted comedy film. The first half of the film definitely keeps you hooked on to the screen, thats because of the twist and turns in the student teacher relationship between Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. The twists and turns are something which I won't reveal and thats something you really need to check out by watching this movie.

In the second of the film, we have Vaani Kapoor who comes in picture as Naina who fills in the glamour quotient of the film with her beauty. The chemistry between Hrithik Roshan and Vaani Kapoor is too fiery. Talking about the action packed scenes, the actors Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff have enthralled everyone with their stellar performances, but then the action scenes are used to a very large extent in the second half of the story ensuring that the viewers would get quite bored and by the time the film came to an end, its story was quite predictable. The action scenes could have been reduced and plot of the second half could have been woven together in a better manner. Keeping all these factors into consideration, I would give the movie a rating of 3 out of 5 stars.
