New Update

Aisa Kyon Hota Hai deals with the problem of communalism and HIV, and traces the common link between the two. It goes on to show, how communalism thrives on the distrust between the communities, and HIV spreads due to lack of commitment and faith in relationships. In the movie, Rati Agnihotri plays a single mother who brings up her son Aryan Vaid. Aryan grows into a bright student and sportsman, but becomes a victim of HIV, when he doesn?t take precaution against the multitude of women that he sleeps with.

Performance wise, though Aryan Vaid gives a sincere performance, he does not come across convincing as a college student. Rati Agnihotri too does justice to her role.

Though Ajay Kanchan?s direction is fair, the combination of the communal problems and HIV does not work and the script goes haywire, and ultimately the impact is lost.
