New Update

NEAL `N' NIKKI is a romantic comedy, where Uday Chopra plays the only son of a farm owner in Canada. Uday's father is a Punjabi who migrated to Canada and made his fortune. He is a happy-go-lucky man, and very popular with girls. Uday's parents want him to get married and they choose a girl from Punjab. Uday agrees, but before that he wants to go to Vancouver for 21 days, where he can ?live? his life, before getting confined to the ?routine? of married life. Uday's wish is granted and off he goes! Just when he is able to hit it off with women, somehow Tanisha appears at crucial moments and spoils his fun, and a sort of a love-hate relationship develops between both of them. Tanisha comes with her own set of problems. Her boyfriend has just dumped her, and she can?t get over it, landing her drunk every night. To spite her former boyfriend, Tanisha asks Uday to pretend to be her lover. Uday agrees. Would they really fall in love? The answer comes in the climax.

Production values are excellent, and the score builds up the tempo of the film, but there is no hit number. The drawback is the thin storyline which is obvious from the beginning. Performance-wise, Uday Chopra is passable. Tanisha shows remarkable progress and she impresses with her spontaneous portrayal. As the director, Arjun Sablok shows his flair for comedy and does a good job.
