In Mukhbiir, I play a detective who wants to make his own identity

Sammir Dattani started his career with ?Uff Kya Jadoo Mohabbat Hai? which was released under the banner of Rajshri Films. After a series of unnoticed films, Sammir Dattanis is now busy with his new projects. Sammir has currently completed Mukbhiir, directed by Mani Shankar.

Tell us about Mukhbiir.
Mukhbiir is directed by Mani Shankar and is produced by Sudhish Rambhotle under the banner Color Chip Entertainment Media Limited which usually makes animated films. When Mani Shankar was deciding on the cast for this film, I got a call from his assistant director for an audition. Out of a total of 200 candidates, I was selected for the role. In Mukbhiir I play a detective who wants to make is own identity.

How was your experience working with talented artiste like Om Puri and Suniel Shetty?
Great. It gives me immense pleasure and honor to work with such great artiste and during the shooting of the film, I got to learn a lot from them.

What do you feel about Mani Shankar?
Mr. Mani Shankar has researched a lot in making this movie and it was nice to work with him.

You have also sung a song for this movie.
Yes. I have lent my voice for one song for this movie and it feels great. In fact I had started my career with the music album ?Valentine Day?.

How do you feel after the release of ?Corporate?.
I was very happy to work in the movie ?Corporate?. We had talented artiste like Bipasha Basu, Kay Kay Menon and Harsh Chaya and it was indeed a great experience.

We learnt that you were earlier to play the role of Shahid Kapoor in Rajshri?s film Vivah?
Yes. I was earlier associated with the project but due to some circumstances, I had to quit. I feel bad about it since now I am getting good opportunities, I feel good.
