Bollywood actress Tara Sutaria is very excited about her upcoming film Tadap, which marks the debut of Ahan Shetty. The trailer and the songs of the film have been received well by the audience and people will give their verdict on the film on 3rd December 2021, when the film releases in cinemas. On her birthday (November 19), Tara Sutaria interacted with the media and revealed exciting details about the film.
As Ahan Shetty is making his debut with Tadap and Tara has done a couple of films already, so were there any seniority issues with him? Replying to that, Tara Sutaria said, “There was nothing like that. We are friends and we were very comfortable on sets. There was no seniority issue with us. I am too young and too new to give advice to anyone.”Talking about the film being stuck during Covid period Tara said, “Due to covid our jobs and all everything was stopped for so long and that’s why I am happy that finally our film Tadap is releasing in theatres on 3rd December. It’s been a two years process and Ahan and I are truly excited.”
From the trailer it seems that Tadap is an action-packed film and will we get to see Tara Sutaria doing some action in it? Tara shared, “There is no action for me in the film. There is a certain amount of action in the film but it’s a different kind of action. There is a lot more in the film than what you have seen in the trailer. There is a glimpse of our climax sequence in the trailer which is like a cumulative ending. Also, there is a bit of a twist and surprise.”“Of course it’s a violent film and there is a lot of action. There is intensity in the action and characters. Obviously it’s Ahan’s launch film and he deserves all the attention and praise but I think the female character (of hers) is very important for the story. She leads the way in a lot of ways in the storyline,” she adds.
Tara has done two films so far and both belong to the commercial genre. Tadap and her next Heropanti 2 (2022) also fall in the same bracket but is she really looking forward to content-driven cinema? Tara answered, “Soon, I am going to make an announcement and it’s a very fantastic announcement. It’s a special one for me. I think it’s in that space (content-driven cinema).”Talking about the comparison with the original flick she shared, “To be honest I don’t think there is any comparison. Our film has very different flavours. Tadap is meant for the Pan India audience, we have created a world that will be appreciated by all age groups. Milan sir has a very unique understanding of cinema. Even our posters make you feel something, that’s what we have tried to do with the film. RX 100 was a huge success and it’s so respected and the original actors were fantastic. We have not tried to create what they did, we have tried to create our own world, our own space with Tadap.”
