Kushaljit Singh Juneja, more popularly known as 'Tito' has been in the media and entertainment business for over three decades now. A self made businessman and entrepreneur, he started his film career in Kolkata (India) as a distributor of Indian motion pictures for the West Bengal territory. He distributed Indian Classics and also produced regional (Assamese) films. From Kolkata, the next big move was to Mumbai ? the Bollywood of Indian cinema! With hope in his heart and dreams to fulfill, Tito then took his next (and most successful) step as producer of Hindi Films. His first production Do Anjane (1976) made under the 'Navjeevan Films' banner starred a relatively unknown but promising actor Amitabh Bachchan along with Rekha and Prem Chopra. The film went on to become a major success and Amitabh Bachchan went on to become the country?s biggest superstar ever! Do Anjane (1976) was the fuel that launched a supersonic career for Tito and also the platform for his long and lasting friendship with the superstar ? Amitabh Bachchan. From then on followed a spew of hit films with the superstar ? Mr. Natwarlal (1979), Ram Balram (1980), Insaniyat (1994) and most recently Hum Kaun Hai (2004). All together, Tito has produced over 15 feature films in his career, having worked with the cream of the Indian film industry and enjoyed a very rewarding run at the box office. Currently, he is producing 'Har Pal' with nine-time National Award winning director Jahnu Barua and starring the country's sweetheart Preity Zinta and Shiney Ahuja.
