It was 'Aan' in 1952 which brought him in the league of villains. But he also did films like 'Yahudi' which was commercially very successful. Firoz Khan's 'Dharmatma', the first version of Indianised Godfather, also gave his career a big boost. He enthralled the audiences with his villainous roles as in Vijay Anand's 'Johnny Mera Naam' and 'Teesri Manzil'. Then there are movies like Manoj Kumar's 'Roti Kapda Aur Makaan' and Raj Kapoor's 'Bobby'. It was a very fateful day in 1992 when this great actor expired and left many of his fans stranded.
