Stree 2 has done smashing business in its extended opening weekend. The film has done extremely well in mass pockets as well as multiplexes across the nation. The horror comedy has received acceptance from the public, and the weekend trend has confirmed it.
Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao's horror fantasy drama has done a business of over 193 crore nett in the 4-day weekend. The film went into overdrive mode on Sunday and registered the biggest single-day collection for itself. Not to forget that the film is doing this business in a 3-way clash against Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa.

Stree 2 had collected 53 crore+ nett on its opening day, which was the national holiday, and the Sunday collections were higher than the opening day. Amar Kaushik's blockbuster flick collected approx 55-55.50 crore nett on Sunday, taking its total to 193 crore nett in the opening weekend (including paid previews).
Stree 2 is all set to become one of the biggest blockbusters made on mid-budget in recent times. Last year, Gadar 2 did a huge business of 515 crore nett, and the film's cost was just 75 crore. Stree 2 is all set to grab the second spot after Gadar 2 as far as mid-budget blockbusters are confirmed.
