Vijayendra Prasad, who has penned several blockbusters like Baahubali, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Rowdy Rathore, to name a few, has also written the story of Kangana Ranaut’s next, Manikarnika-The Queen Of Jhansi and he says that the temperament of the movie is similar to that of the Prabhas starrer.
The writer shares, ” Manikarnika has a similar temperament as Baahubali. Rani of Jhansi is the symbol of our national pride. It’s a tradition in every city and town of Andhra Pradesh to keep their daughter’s name Jhansi, where I come from. I have kept my daughter’s name Manikarnika, which is when I decided to write on the life of Rani Lakshmibai. And finally I got a chance to work on her story. Believe me, I was so excited to get this opportunity that within one month I completed writing the entire story. There are some stories which inspires you from the within, Manikranika is a story like that. Her story is like a motivational painting.”
Directed by Krish, Manikarnika- The Queen of Jhansi features also Sonu Sood and Ankita Lokhande.
