Rangoli, who is also Kangy’s spokesperson and manager, accused Mahesh Bhatt of ill-treating her sister. Rangoli claimed that Mahesh Bhatt threw his slipper on the Queen of Bollywood after she refused to do a film that he had offered to her, during the initial days of her career.
When Mahesh Bhatt was asked to comment on Rangoli’s accusation, he said, “Our sanskars teach us not to point fingers at our kids. Speaking against our kids may serve your purpose (aapki dukaan to chal jayegi) but we don’t live that way. I never avoid a situation by saying ‘no comments’ but she is a ‘junior bachchi’ who started her career with us. If her relative has said something, and I react to it, I will only be dragging it further. I wouldn’t talk ill about my kids till I die, yeh hamare swabhav aur fitrat ke khilaaf hai.”
When prodded further, he said, “If abusing me makes someone’s business prosper, it’s bringing food to their tables, I shouldn’t get affected by it. However, I won’t say a word against my juniors or my female colleagues.”
Now we are waiting for Rangoli’s comments on his statement.
"With Masters in Mass Communications, this former beauty queen has an opinion on just about everything under the sun and even beyond that. Her passion for writing and everything that spells films and fashion, are the reasons why she made a career in entertainment journalism"
