Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30 got delayed as it encountered many obstacles last year however, the movie is now back on track and its trailer was unveiled today.
Hrithik is playing mathematician Anand Kumar, who tutors 30 underprivileged kids for IIT-JEE under his Super 30 program, in the biopic. The film shows his journey from being a sought after math teacher to being a mentor to economically backward but brilliant students.
The film will focus on Anand’s early life, the challenges that he faced to start the Super 30 program and how he encouraged and prepared these students to crack one of world’s toughest exams, IIT-JEE.
Hrithik has nailed the part and though he doesn’t look much like the real Anand Kumar, he has got his Bihari accent right. The actor has undergone massive physical transformation for the role. It’s difficult to recognize the Greek God of Bollywood in his de-glam avatar. Hrithik has packed a solid punch with his powerful performance.
The film also stars Aditya Srivastava of CID fame and he is playing Hrithik’s former employer in the movie. The kids too have performed well and Hrithik mingles with them effortlessly. The trailer has hit the right chords and now, we are eagerly waiting for the film to hit the theaters.
Directed by Vikas Bahl, Super 30 is slated to release on July 12.
