Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has a massive fan following across the globe and that’s exactly why he has been invited to appear as a guest on David Letterman’s talk show, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction.
SRK has left for New York to shoot with the American television host and comedian for his show, which airs on Netflix. As he left for the Big Apple, a few hours ago, the King Khan tweeted, “Flying into another city that never sleeps… A great idea for someone like me. New York calling.”
With this, Khan will become the first Indian celebrity to feature on the show. The first season of ‘My Next Guest Needs No Introduction’ saw David Letterman interviewing the likes of Barack Obama, George Clooney, Malala Yousafzai and Jerry Seinfeld and now, Khan will be joining the bandwagon. We hear that he will shoot for the show on May 16 in the presence of a live audience.
On work front, Shah Rukh hasn’t signed anything since his last release Zero, which was a box-office disaster. Post the Zero debacle, Khan also walked out of Rakesh Sharma’s biopic, Saare Jahan Se Accha. Rumour has it that Farah Khan wants to sign him for the remake of Satte Pe Satta opposite Katrina Kaif. The film is being produced by Rohit Shetty.
