After enticing us with the posters of their movie, the makers of Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer Bharat have finally unveiled the film’s trailer and it lived up to all our expectations.
The trailer has an old, middle class man named Bharat telling the audiences the tale of his rangeen life. Bharat’s journey begins with the independence and partition of India.
Bharat starts his life as an adult by working in a circus and it seems Disha Patani will be playing his jawani ka love interest. Salman is seen performing some high-octane bike stunts in the sequence.
He then meets Katrina Kaif, who works for an oil company and takes Bharat and his friend (Sunil Grover) to the Middle East, where they start oil drilling along with their team. Bharat then becomes a Merchant Navy officer and it seems that his ship will get attacked by pirates.
The ship and the sea scenes look very realistic and will certainly give the audiences an adrenaline rush. Khan is looking dapper in his white mariner uniform. However, the film is not just about his different professions but also about his search for his father (Jackie Shroff), who got separated from them during the Indo-Pak partition.
Salman is an absolute charmer as Bharat and we are sure his fans will be elated to see him in all his avatars. Katrina is looking gorgeous and her sass and sarcasm will make you fall in love with her all over again. Disha Patani is looking lovely and we are sure Sunil Grover will add a dash of humour to the movie. Jackie Shroff is intense however, we wanted to see more of him in the film.
Bharat chronicles the journey of its protagonist and India from 1947 to 2010. The film will appeal to all kind of audiences and has blockbuster written all over it. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the period drama is an adaptation of Korean movie An Ode To My Father and will release on Eid, 2019.
