Priyanka Chopra To Be The Face Of 'Incredible India'?

We had reported yesterday that Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who has been mired in controversies regarding tax havens and evasion of tax, might not be selected to replace Aamir Khan as the brand ambassador of Indian Government's 'Incredible India' campaign and we have now heard that Priyanka Chopra might be approached for the position.

Priyanka Chopra has not only wowed everyone across India, but has also made a name for herself on an international scale with her music singles and her TV show Quantico, not to mention her Hollywood debut Baywatch and buzz has it that the government officials feel Priyanka would be the best person to represent India on a global scale.

Following his 'intolerance' remark, the Tourism Ministry of India had allegedly decided to not renew actor Aamir Khan's contract as the brand ambassador of 'Incredible India', a global marketing campaign to promote Indian tourism. Amitabh Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra were being considered to become the face of the campaign instead, but it now seems that the Desi Girl has beat the Shahenshah.
