Kangana Ranaut recently lashed out at Bollywood actors and filmmakers for ganging up against her and she also stated that when they invite her for their film’s screening or if they ask her to watch the trailer of their movies, she always oblige however the sentiment is not reciprocated.
She recently revealed that Alia had personally sent the trailer of Raazi to her and that she even spoke with Meghna Gulzar and her for half-an-hour after the film’s release and that when it was their turn ‘there was no response.’
When Alia was asked to comment on it she said that she hopes Kangy doesn’t dislike her and that she didn’t do anything intentionally to hurt her. She said that if she has upset Kangana unintentionally, she would apologise to her but it seems like Ms. Ranaut is in no mood to forgive and forget.
In a conversation to a portal, Kangana revealed that she reached out to Alia and asked her what makes her think that Manikarnika is her personal controversy. She asked Alia that if she can be courteous enough to acknowledge her requests for encouraging relevant work done by her, why is Bhatt so scared of watching her film.
She suggested Alia to ‘grow a spine’ and support an important film about women empowerment and nationalism. She further bashed Alia saying that if she doesn’t have a voice of her own and her existence is all about being her mentor Karan Johar’s puppet then she doesn’t consider her successful. She told Alia that if she is focusing only on earning big bucks and not raise a voice, then her success has no value. She said that the Nepo gang’s life is simply restricted to giving and taking favours.
