Actor Arshad Warsi, who was the first celeb to host controversial reality show Bigg Boss before Amitabh Bachchan and Salman Khan took over the reins, trashed the reality show on being asked to explain his absence on the show to promote his upcoming film Golmaal Again.
Speaking to a tabloid, Warsi said that the show is quite down market and the contestants on the show are quite tacky. The actor further went on to say that the channel is attempting to boost the ratings by showcasing the things that sell and that as a result, morality is taking a backseat.
Warsi further revealed that the concept back then was to understand the psyche of people and notice the developments that occur when they are made to reside in an isolated house and not to create any negativity.
Wonder what Salman Khan has to say about this now…
