Model turned actor Vidyut Jamwal, who plays a baddie in Nishikant Kamat‘s upcoming Force has been much talked about because of his physique and martial arts skills. However, what many people do not know that the buffed-up actor, who had tried his hand at modelling before becoming an actor is actually a fierce patriot who doesn’t think twice before letting his fists fly if his motherland is bad mouthed.
Sources claim that in June 2007, during the launch of a mall in the city, a Brazilian model named Bruno started bad-mouthing India in a fit of rage about something that had gone wrong during the event. The next thing you know, an enraged Jamwal reportedly pounced on the model and bashed the living daylights out of him, much to the cheering support of other Indian models who were happy at the sight of the model defending the country’s honour.
It was only after the organisers and some other models intervened that the two combatants were separated and the fight broken up. Incidentally, Jamwal, a trained martial artist bagged the role by managing to beat about 500 actors who had auditioned for the role.
Vidyut Jamwal does believe in a show of excessive Force when the country’s honour is called in question!
