Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana‘s movie Gulabo Sitabo postponed. The two talented actors will soon be seen sharing the screen space for the first time ever in Shoojit Sircar’s upcoming directorial venture Gulabo Sitanbo. The movie was earlier scheduled to release in November this year but due to some reasons, the movie has now been shifted to April 24, 2020. The makers of the film, Rising Sun Films took their Twitter handle to announce the film’s new release date.
The quirky family comedy film, written by Juhi Chaturvedi will be directed by Shoojit Sircar and produced collaboratively by Ronnie Lahiri with Sheel Kumar was announced last month.
Ayushmann Khurrana who was last seen widely appreciated in Andhadhun and Badhaai Ho. Gulabo will mark Khurrana’s second collaboration with Sircar after Vicky Donor(2012), the hit film which was the actor’s debut in Bollywood. Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan’s last release was Badla with Tapsee Pannu. The movie was a massive hit at the box office and managed to earn Rs 100 crore. Gulabo will mark Sircar’s second collaboration with Bachchan after his previously directed Piku.
Currently Ayushmann is preparing for his upcoming film Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan which is the sequel to the blockbuster Shubh Mangal Savdhan(2017). He is also awaiting the release of his forthcoming film Article 15, based on the Badaun Rape case and Mr. Bachchan has already started shooting with Emraan Hashmi for Rumi Jaffrey’s mystery thriller ‘Chehre’.
