John, Bipasha, B'Townies Opt For Rickshaw Rescue 

Forget swanky cars and choppers, the "humble" vehicle that's becoming quite a rage amongst stars is our "can't do without"… auto rickshaws!

Auto rickshaws seem to have turned the flavour of the season for B-town celebs. The trend, apparently, was started by Salman Khan who took an auto to escape the mob at Amrita Arora's wedding in 2009.

Taking a cue from him many actors and actresses started hiring autos in time of crisis, most recent being John Abraham and Bipasha Basu (well… they were not together).

While returning home from a shoot for Force at Powai in suburban Mumbai, John got stuck in a traffic bottleneck. And when the traffic refused to disperse, John hailed an auto and hopped into it along with co-star Genelia D'souza.

A rick also came to Bipasha's rescue when her driver didn't show up early morning. Basu had to hit the gym and since she doesn't know how to drive, she took a ride in the rickshaw along with her trainer.

Celebs like Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra have been seen taking a rickshaw ride, in the past… and other matinee idols are following their path. Well, truly so…
