A scorching 47 degrees. The figure forced an uber kool Karan Johar to do a rethink about his Diu trip. Incidentally, if K Jo did intend to scoot off to the island, it wasn't for some fancy holiday or leisure. Rather, it was a professional call… as his remake version of Agneepath was being canned at the island.
The hot(ttt) news about the sweltering heat was broken to him by Sanjay Dutt who was filming for the flick at the famed fishing union territory of India with director Karan Malhotra.
States a source close to K Jo states, "After hearing about the terrible heat wave in Diu, Karan decided not to go there. After all, he is used to going to exotic locations like London and USA. Sanjay Dutt had warned Karan about the soaring temperature at Diu. So, Karan decided to stay put in Mumbai and wrap up his pending commitments."
Confirming the heat warning, Dutt states that although he didn't spell out that Karan Johar shouldn't come there, he did caution him about it. And adds tongue in cheek that actors like him have "no choice but to complete work in Diu."
