Firoz Bags Costliest Bachchan Power?

The 'mahurat' of 'Power' produced by Mr. Firoz A Nadiadwala under his banner A.A Nadiadwala, which is being presented by Base Industries Group was held on the auspicious day of Ganpati Visarjan on September 22nd, 2010, at a suburban Mumbai five star hotel . Reportedly, 'Power' is the most expensive film ever produced in the Indian film industry. The movie stars Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Kangna Ranaut, Amisha Patel, Anuradha Patel and will also showcase a new find Lekha Washington. The flick, penned by Rajkumar Santoshi, will also be directed by him. The 'mahurat' ceremony of 'Power' begun with Gurudas Kamat, A.A Nadiadwala, Balagiri, Bharat Shah and C.G Patel lighting the traditional lamp on stage and Gurudas Kamat also broke the coconut for the 'shubh mahurat' of the film followed by the first clap. Bachchan, attired in a black coat along with Sanjay Dutt, Anil Kapoor and Ajay Devgn performed a small scene from the film and then all the dignitaries were called on stage one by one. The other celebs present at the 'mahurat' were Prakash Jha, Madhur Bhandarkar, Sajid Nadiadwala, Ramesh Taurani, Anil Sharma, Tinu Verma, Boney Kapoor, Vijay Khanna, Sonal Chauhan, Anand Raj Anand, Blaze Fernandez from Warner Bros and Rafiq Kazi, among others. A list action directors and stunt coordinators from Hollywood who have been confirmed for the mega budget film have worked on big films such as 'James Bond: Casino Royale', 'Born Identity' series, 'Spiderman' and 'Swordfish'. The visual effects team. which has worked on the Hollywood blockbuster '2012' would be part of the technical team. Here's more power to 'Power'.
