Abhishek Bachchan is known for many things but a toned physique is definitely not one of them. His physique has already prompted director Mani Ratnam to issue a diktat asking him to lose weight and look fir for his role in the latter's film. One has also heard that Rakesh Mehra has used a body double for him in his film Dilli 6.
It seems that some of the stunts in the film are quite dangerous and Abhi is no Khiladi. Hence, these risky stunts are being performed by a body double imported from Hollywood. It seems that stuntman, has also performed stunts for Sanjay Gadhvi's Kidnap, where he stood in for Imran Khan. The stunts that he is performing for Abhi in Dilli 6 apparently involve a lot of aerial stunts. Dilli 6, which stars Abhishek in lead, has him paired opposite Sonam Kapoor. Besides these two, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, who plays Abhi's grandfather in the movie; Waheeda Rehman, Rishi Kapoor, Tanvi Azmi, Atul Kulkarni, who worked before with Mehra in Rang De Basanti, Om Puri and Divya Dutta. The film's story is set in the Chandni Chowk area of Delhi, where Mehra grew up. The six in the film's title refers to the pin code of Chandni Chowk, which is 6. But to get back to Abhi, it seems that the actor has taken Mani's diktat seriously and has started working out inn earnest.
