S.S Rajamouli To Use Trademark Ajay Devgn Stunt In 'Makkhi'

By MovieTalkies.com, 01 October 2012 Ajay Devgn, S.S.Rajamouli

Ajay Devgn has created memorable moments on the silver screen by balancing on two bikes, two cars and very recently riding on two horses for his upcoming Diwali film Son Of Sardaar.

Latest news is that this popular stunt is being emulated by S.S. Rajamouli for his upcoming film Makkhi. Makkhi is the Hindi dubbed version of his Telugu blockbuster Eega.

Makkhi, the main protagonist in the film will be re-enacting the same iconic scene and would be riding on two other house-fly characters just like the stunt. Not just that, Makkhi would also be mouthing the famous dialogue from Devgn's Singham - Ata Majhi Satakli!

Rajamouli is a huge fan of Devgn, who has also lent his voice to the dubbed version as the narrator at the beginning of the film.

Therefore by incorporating the horse stunt in the film Rajamouli has chosen a unique way of honoring Devgn for the good deed that he has done for the film!

When asked why he included the scene in the last minute, Rajamouli said, "For a film like Makkhi, it is very important that the audience leave the theatre with warmth in their heart & a smile on their faces..So we came up with the idea of making the makkhi dance for the end credits. But Makkhi riding on two houselflies is the cherry on top"

Eega was one of the biggest Telugu Blockbusters in 2012 and was later released in Tamil and Malyalam as Naan Ee & Eecha respectively.

The film is set to release on October 12.
