Actor Aamir Khan might have captured the attention of the entire nation with his television debut Satyamev Jayate but that has not stopped his detractors from making uncharitable allegations about Khan's unterior motives behind doing such a show.
However, Mr. Perfectionist, as he is known, seems to be hardly bothered by such cynics, who allege that the actor is undertaking this project for monetary gains. In a recent interview, Khan said, "I know that there are many people who claim that I am doing this for money but I never pay attention to such people because there always will be a group of cynics, who will point fingers at others no matter what work they do. I am not bothered by them and I am infact happy at the positive response that my show has received from all parts of India."
The actor has tackled various social issues from female foeticide to child abuse to medicine malpractice on his show and Satyamev Jayate is the only show in the history on Indian television, which is aired on eight television channels simultaneously.
