Ferrari Ki Sawaari is actor Sharman Joshi's first solo-project in his 15-film long career. However, bagging this big-ticket project was not an easy task for the actor who has given excellent performances in films such as Rang De Basanti and 3 Idiots.
Sharman had to work hard on various aspects, such as his weight, playing Parsi etc.
The actor was quoted saying, "It was after one-and-a-half years I got a chance to audition, Rajesh was concerned if I could do the role of a father or not, as I looked younger. I did 30 to 40 auditions and worked on emotional quotient, physical aspect and traits of the character, so that my dialogues and all come out shinning. I spent a lot of time with Parsi community. All this took some doing and thankfully I got hold of it correctly and I was awarded with this role."
The Rajesh Mapuskar directed film, starring Boman Irani and Sharman Joshi, is set to hit the screens on June 15.
