Kareena Kapoor Inaugurates 'Walk Of The Stars'

Now Bollywood too has something on the lines of Hollywood’s 'Walk Of Fame'. Indian film industry’s 'Walk Of The Stars' was launched yesterday, at Bandra’s Bandstand promenade, in suburban Mumbai.
Bollywood’s first family 'The Kapoors' were the first to be felicitated by the organisers and Kareena Kapoor inaugurated the 'Walk of the Stars' on Wednesday.
Hand impression of the Kapoors were taken and tiles dedicated to Prithviraj Kapoor, Raj Kapoor, Shammi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Neetu, Karisma Kapoor and Kareena were installed along with brass statues of late Raj and Shammi Kapoor.
The 'Walk Of The Stars' will also feature other prominent Indian actors, in the future. Soon benches dedicated to actors like Guru Dutt, Dev Anand, Nargis, Sunil Dutt, Nutan and Bimal Roy will be placed there. Slabs with hand impression of Bachchans and the Khans are also being prepared.
