Madhur Bhandarkar: 'Heroine's not inspired by Manisha Koirala's life' 

Madhur Bhandarkar, who is presently shooting the second schedule of his magnum opus Heroine, has rubbished all reports that suggested that his film is based on Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala's life.

Recently, media was abuzz with news that the Kareena Kapoor- Arjun Rampal starrer was inspired by the highs and lows of Koirala's life. However, Bhandarkar took to Twitter to refute all rumours, writing, "#Heroine's not inspired by Manisha Koirala's life. It's a figment of imagination. People should check facts before creating such stories."

Slated to release on September 14, 2012, Heroine stars Rakesh Bapat, Randeep Hooda and Shahana Goswami in pivotal roles alongside Arjun Rampal and Kareena Kapoor.
