Basic Instinct star Michael Douglas, who has been serving as the United Nations Messenger of Peace since 1998, has issued an urge to children aged five to 17 to draw their idea of a world without war. Douglas was quoted to have said, "I look forward to the day when all of us who inhabit this fragile planet are free from the threat of nuclear weapons. That's why I'm calling on all young artists to use their creative talents to imagine what that world would be like - a world free of nuclear weapons..." Reportedly, the winning artist would be gifted with either art supplies or a cash prize.
